Botswana
Visa for British Nationals
British nationals do not require visas to enter Botswana. However, you should know how many days you are allowed to stay in Botswana (maximum 90 days without a visa). Overstaying can cause delays on departure. If you wish to extend your stay, you should seek an extension from the Department of Immigration. Ethiopia
Visa for British Nationals
British nationals require a visa to enter Ethiopia. British nationals flying into Ethiopia for tourism purposes may obtain visas at the airport on arrival.

Yellow Fever vaccination certificates an entry requirement for all visitors over the age one year.
Gambia
Visa for British Nationals
For visits up to 28 days, there are no entry requirements for British citizens. For visits in excess of this, permission will need to be obtained from the Immigration Department of The Gambian Government. This can be obtained in country from their offices in Banjul. Extensions cost D200 for each additional month.

Ghana
Visa for British Nationals
British passport holders require visas prior to arrival in Ghana. Overstaying without the proper authority is a serious matter and you could be held in detention or refused permission to leave the country until a fine is paid.

Kenya
Visa for British Nationals
United Kingdom passport holders need a visa to enter Kenya. Visas may be obtained on arrival by air with a cash payment of 50 US Dollars or in advance from the Kenya High Commission, 45 Portland Place, London W1N 4AS (Tel: +20 7636 2371 to 5) at a cost of 35 pounds Sterling. Passports should be valid for at least a further six months. There is also an airport departure tax of 20 US Dollars, which is normally included in the price of airline tickets.

Foreign visitors to Mozambique need visas. Single entry visit visas for tourism are now available at the Ressano Garcia (South Africa) and Namaacha (Swaziland) borders, as well as the airport. Heavy fines are imposed on those without proper documentation.

British nationals can obtain a visa at any major point of entry into Rwanda, free of charge. The maximum duration is three months and you can request single or multiple entry.

South Africa

Visa not required for trips up to 3 months.

All visitors to South Africa are required to have a minimum of two blank pages in their passport to enable the entry visa to be issued. If there is insufficient space in the passport entry will be denied and the person is likely to be detained pending return to their country of origin.

Zambia
Visa for British Nationals
British passport holders require a visa to enter Zambia. Visas are available at all ports of entry at a cost of £35 for a single entry and £45 for a multiple entry. British Nationals are asked to pay their Visa fees in Sterling. It is important to carry the exact amount with you, as change may not be given. Non-residents pay a departure tax of 20 US dollars, payable in dollars.

Zimbabwe
British passport holders require visas to enter Zimbabwe. These can be obtained from Zimbabwean diplomatic missions abroad, or on arrival at the port of entry into Zimbabwe. The current charge for a single entry visa issued on arrival in Zimbabwe is £35.00 or 55 US Dollars. You should bring this amount with you in cash. Visitors are currently being given entry permission for thirty days.
