| Geared up for rhinos |

Edition 32: Autumn 2005 Save the Rhino is looking for volunteers ready to climb into one of their distinctive rhino costumes to raise money to fund their African conservation and education programmes. People regularly run the London and New York marathons dressed as rhinos (the charity reserves 50 places in the London marathon, ten of which are for costumed participants). Others have crossed the Sahara desert. Save the Rhino’s co-founders, David Stirling and Johnny Roberts, have walked from Mombasa to the top of Kilimanjaro in costume. If you would like to try a novel way to raise money for rhinos contact the UK office on 020 7357 7474: they are always open to ideas. www.savetherhino.org |
