Edition 43: Summer 2008 For the fourth consecutive year South Africa’s Le Quartier Français has been recognised as one of the 50 Best Restaurants in the World by Restaurant Magazine UK.
The San Pellegrino sponsored awards – voted on by prominent food writers, critics, publishers and commentators from around the world – also bestowed the eatery with the lofty title of the best restaurant in Africa and the Middle East. Judges commented that “Margot Janse and her team continue to dazzle with their divine delights”. Le Quartier Français is found in Franschhoek, in the heart of the Western Cape’s Winelands region. |
