Zambia visa price plummets!

Edition 45: Winter 2008/9

Less than twelve months after they were controversially increased, the prices of Zambian visas have been slashed by the country’s new government administration.

The Minister of Tourism noted that the increased fees had disadvantaged Zambia’s tourism sector as some tourists opted to visit countries in the region charging less for visas.

Visa costs for British and Northern Ireland passport holders have dropped from £75 for a single-entry visa to £35, while the multiple-entry option has been reduced from £240 to £60. Single-entry visas for most other nationalities will now cost US$50.
