I’ve been travelling around the African continent for the past 20 years and have been to many national parks. I see less wildlife each year, especially lion. An estimated 180,000 lions have been killed in the past 20 years...
and it remains only matter of time till they are on the endangered
species list. Indeed, I read a very sad letter by Richard Leakey on this
very issue. The human population is destroying the planet on every
level – can Travel Africa raise awareness of the plight of the lion (and
others)?
