Paul Miles is a London-based photographer and journalist. He writes and photographs for publications around the world, including The Daily Telegraph and The Guardian. Paul has lived in the South Pacific for five years where he worked for WWF on ecotourism development and promotion.
Most of his work is tourism-related, with particular emphasis on sustainable tourism, tourism marketing and gay tourism. He has also undertaken photographic assignments for development agencies.
His people photography won him the Tourism Council of the South Pacific Kodak award in 1997. In 2001 he was awarded an honourable mention in the Pacific Asia Travel Association Gold Awards for a feature published in the Sunday Times.
Paul is available for photographic or written work for the media, the tourism industry, development agencies and NGOs.
